The drummer claimed that there was a interval in his life when he was not working, about which he’s unable to recall any specifics.

Talking to Classic Rock journal, Fleetwood mentioned: “There’s little doubt we have been effectively outfitted with the marching powder. That’s a well-worn fairytale that will get extra like a conflict story, that will get increasingly more aggrandised.

“I’m not minimalising the truth that we have been positively partaking in that way of life,” he added. “However these weren’t a bunch of individuals crawling throughout the ground with inexperienced froth popping out of their mouths, we have been working, you realize?”

The drummer then mentioned that his drug behavior “obtained out of hand manner after the making of Rumours”, the band’s beloved 1977 album.

“I bear in mind not working for 2 years,” Fleetwood continued. “I can’t even bear in mind what I did.”

Each Fleetwood and Stevie Nicks have spoken overtly in regards to the band’s drug use previously.
