Eminem takes aim at TikTok campaign to ‘cancel’ him for Rihanna song lyric


Eminem has seemingly hit out at a TikTok marketing campaign to cancel him for a “problematic” tune lyric.

This week, the rapper began trending on the favored social media app after a collection of movies highlighted a controversial line from his Rihanna collaboration, “Love the Method You Lie”.

Within the 2010 tune, Eminem raps:“I do know I’m a liar, if she ever tries to f***ing depart once more, I’ma tie her to the mattress and set this home on fireplace,” which TikTokers are saying glorifies home violence.

‘Yesssss let’s cancel him,” one video states, with one other utilizing writing: “No surprise I’m poisonous, I grew up listening to this tune.”

Whereas many have leapt to the defence of Eminem over the controversy, criticising the Era Z customers who shared the movies, the rapper himself has remained silent – till now.

On Friday (5 March), he shared a brand new video for his 2020 tune “Tone Deaf” and seemingly used the chance to criticise the TikTok marketing campaign by highlighting some alternative lyrics:

“I gained’t cease even when my hair turns gray (I’m tone-deaf) / ‘Trigger they gained’t cease till they cancel me,” he wrote.
