Bonnaroo 2021 lineup announced, includes multiple Alabama artists

Bonnaroo is again. After the music mega-fest was rescheduled and finally canceled final 12 months as a result of pandemic, organizers have introduced the 2021 Bonnaroo Music & Arts Pageant lineup.

The 2021 pageant is about for Sept. 2 – 5, and headlining acts embrace: rock band Foo Fighters, rappers Megan Thee Stallion and Lizzo, psych-pop group Tame Impala, noir-pop singer Lana Del Rey and  hip-hop producer/MC Tyler, the Creator.

Bonnaroo is held on a 700-acre farm in Manchester, Tenn. It’s a few 90-minute drive from Huntsville.

Alabama artists scheduled to carry out embrace Brittany Howard (Athens), Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit (Inexperienced Hill/Shoals), rapper Flo Milli (Cellular) and Waxahatchee (Birmingham).

Bonnaroo tickets on sale at the moment, March 31 at midday central time. Costs begin at $329 (four-day basic admission ticket) and go as much as $3,275 (four-day “platinum” ticket). Extra information at bonnaroo.com/tickets.

Fascinating and notable undercard 2021 Bonnaroo performers embrace: rap duo Run The Jewels, bluesy guitar phenoms Marcus King and Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, ’90s alt-rockers Primus, indie singer/songwriter Phoebe Bridgers, the DJ generally known as deadmau5, throwback-soul artist Leon Bridges, glam-rock band The Struts, art-R&B act Janelle Monáe, steel combo Deftones, roots-group Larkin Poe and jam-band Disco Biscuits.

Bonnaroo debuted in 2002. Previous headliners have included Beastie Boys, White Stripes, Jay-Z, Phish, Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, Eminem, Dave Matthews Band, 9 Inch Nails, Kanye West, The Police, Radiohead, Neil Younger, Purple Sizzling Chili Peppers, Tom Petty, Stevie Surprise and Metallica.
